— City of Mesquite, TX is seeking a Public Safety Dispatcher to answer 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls and coordinate police and fire dispatch. No prior experience required; typing 35 wpm is needed, and a high school diploma or GED is required. U.S.
citizenship and being at least 18 years old are mandatory. A driver’s license is required and TCOLE certification must be obtainable. The position operates in a 24/7 dispatch center with rotating shifts; training will be provided.
