Overview

We are seeking a
Medical Biller,sometimes referred to as aHospital Billing Specialist, Patient Accounts Representative or Insurance Billing Specialist.

As our Medical Biller, you will manage patient billing and insurance claims in our Physician Group or Hospital. The Medical Biller will ensureaccuratecoding,timely reimbursements and clear communication between patients, insurers, and our medical group or hospital departments.

Shifts Available:Days

Employment Type:Full-Time

Hours:8-hour – 8:00am to4:30pm

Location:Dallas Medical Physician Group–Mesquite,TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Review patient charts and codeinsuranceinformation foraccurateinsurancebilling
• Submit insurance claims and ensuretimelyreimbursement
• Follow up on insurance denialsor unpaidinsuranceclaims and correct errorsor insurance codes
• Prepare and send patient bills for remaining balances
• Communicate with insurance companies and hospital departments to resolve billing issues
