Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
Qualifications- RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
- Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
- Proficient computer skills.
