Birth Certificate Clerk

Overview

The Birth Certificate Clerk is an unlicensed person who performs indirect care in the department setting and facilitates the Birth Certificate Process with all newborns.

Shifts Available: Days

Employment Type: Per Diem

Hours: 8-hour shifts

Department: Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

Responsible for all data entry in the State's VIP system as well as collecting all needed information for each newborn's birth certificate and submission to the local Department of Vital Statistics and DOH.

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for all new hires
• Medical Terminology preferred.
• Experience using computers for word processing, database management preferred
