Overview
We are seeking a Paramedic at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX. A Paramedic (also referred to as Emergency Care Technician, Emergency Department Technician, or Emergency Room Technician) will assist with tasks such as starting IVs, performing EKGs, monitoring vital signs, and supporting airway management. The Paramedic plays a key role in trauma care, CPR, and patient transport, working closely with nurses and physicians during emergencies.
All work is conducted under hospital protocols and supervision.

- Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion, EKG acquisition, and continuous vital signs monitoring under supervision
- Assist with airway management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and support during advanced airway procedures and resuscitation efforts
- Provide wound care, apply splints, assist with suturing, and respond as part of the team during medical emergencies
- Support patient flow by transporting patients to diagnostic areas or inpatient units and assisting with room turnover and preparation
- Maintain clinical readiness by stocking essential supplies and performing point-of-care testing as permitted by hospital policy
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and EMS personnel to support trauma care, high-acuity patient management, and assist with clinical procedures and transitions of care
