Work Hours

Compensation

$70K‑$85K depending on experience

Job Purpose

The Inventory Control Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily department operations, ensuring adequate inventory levels, and implementing inventory control procedures. The manager schedules team hours, maintains equipment and housekeeping standards, coordinates physical counts, and trains and oversees staff. This role reports to the General Manager of Warehouse.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Daily
  • QI process for Bay Valley inventory to maintain availability for Rico’s
  • Labor planning and payroll accuracy
  • Consistent communication with external clients
  • Outsourcing labor when needed
  • Special project requests from clients
Weekly
  • Manager and supervisor meetings
  • Attendance at all strategic leadership meetings
Monthly
  • Tracking facility updates
  • KPI tracking
  • Equipment maintenance documentation
  • Peco and Chep input into system once a week
Quarterly
  • Performance reviews, team goals, and forecasting documentation
Job Complexity
  • Management of a staff of employees
  • Hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and accountability
  • Lead or support IT modification projects
  • Maintain organized, neat, orderly operations for Inventory Control
  • Meet or exceed project and client KPIs
  • Knowledge of reporting requirements for co‑pack
  • Problem resolution, communication, and customer service skills
  • Adherence to AIB policy and procedures
Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of Warehouse Management experience
  • Ability to report and track trending and historical data
  • Strong business writing and case analysis skills
  • Intermediate algebra and financial mathematics proficiency
  • Experience in Inventory Control and Transportation Warehouse
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel with basic Access, data entry, and computer skills
  • Experience in warehouse safety and safety training
Language Skills
  • Effective communication in English – reading, writing, speaking
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and regulations
  • Writing of reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, and customers
Physical Requirements
  • Occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds
  • Use of keyboard and buttons on phone systems
  • Articulated verbal communication in front of others
  • Indoor/office environment work, repetitive hand motion, sitting, standing, walking
  • Work over continuous 8‑hour periods when required
  • Maintain accuracy and multitasking under stress
  • Visual acuity of 20/20 corrected vision
  • Auditory ability to hear speech at 30 dB (500‑2000 Hz)
  • Clear telephone communication
  • Health certification with no controlled substance use
Work Environment

Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise level ranges from quiet to moderately loud.
