Job Summary

Letronics is a small, established company that develops and supplies specialized products for the commercial airline industry. Our products include the Any Seat PRM Lift, inflight entertainment (IFE) solutions, carrying and storage solutions, and other products developed around specific airline needs.

We are looking for a hands-on Airline Program Manager to help manage our airline relationships and product programs from beginning to end.

This is not a position in a large corporate environment with multiple departments and layers of support.
We are a small team, and everyone gets involved. The right person will be comfortable meeting with an airline executive, setting up a product demonstration, helping prepare for a trade show, conducting customer training, following up on an open project, and working directly with our team to solve a customer issue.

The position will be involved before, during, and after the sale — helping develop opportunities, demonstrating products, coordinating evaluations and trials, managing projects, conducting training, and supporting airline customers after implementation.

Some domestic and international travel is required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline customers.
  • Participate in customer meetings and help develop new opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, airline evaluations, and trials.
  • Represent Letronics at aviation trade shows and industry events.
  • Help coordinate trade show preparation, product samples, demonstrations, and customer follow-up.
  • Manage airline projects from initial opportunity through development, delivery, training, and implementation.
  • Keep projects organized and moving by tracking schedules, open items, responsibilities, and customer commitments.
  • Work directly with our internal team and outside manufacturing partners to communicate customer requirements and resolve issues.
  • Become knowledgeable and comfortable demonstrating and training customers on Letronics products.
  • Conduct on-site and remote customer training.
  • Gather feedback from airline personnel and help turn that feedback into product improvements and new product opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers after implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to expand successful products and programs within existing airline customers.
  • Handle the everyday details necessary to make projects successful — no task is considered too small when it needs to get done.
Qualifications
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable presenting, demonstrating products, and conducting training.
  • Strong follow-through and ability to take ownership without requiring a large support structure.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Comfortable working with physical products and learning technical and operational details.
  • Practical problem solver who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both senior airline management and frontline personnel.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a small team.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Aviation industry experience is a plus, particularly experience with airline operations, passenger experience, accessibility/PRM programs, IFE, aircraft equipment, training, or aviation suppliers.

The Right Person

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the variety and responsibility of working for a small company
.

There may be a major airline presentation in the morning and boxes or equipment that need to be prepared for a demonstration that afternoon. We don't have layers of people for every function, so we value people who see what needs to be done and take care of it.

In return, this person will have significant responsibility, work directly with company management, develop relationships with major airlines, travel to customer locations and industry events, and have a meaningful role in taking new aviation products from an idea to successful airline programs.

We're looking for someone who wants to own things, not just manage them.
