What you'll do:
- Follow all company safety policies and TCEQ environmental/OSHA safety regulations. Inspect the workplace daily and report deficiencies immediately to your supervisor.
- Perform daily maintenance inspections of the plant and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations, maximizing production and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and monitor the site to identify and report safety or maintenance issues.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, pulling, and carrying to operate equipment used for crushing concrete and removing rebar and debris during production.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance throughout the plant, including screen changes, conveyor belt repairs, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump servicing.
- Assist with plant operation tasks like cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials. Ensure misters are operational to minimize dust levels.
- Willingness to cross-train and perform other job duties safely to meet productivity goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
- Some experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work overtime and extended hours based on customer and company needs.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and tolerate loud noises.
- Stand for long periods at conveyor belts.
- Climb heights of 20 feet or more.
- Lift, carry, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Work in noisy, dusty environments while wearing safety gear like hard hats, safety glasses, goggles, steel-toed boots, ear plugs, dust masks, and gloves.
