Position: Tester - Hot Water Machines

We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for Testers to work on hot water machines in our newest facility in Mesquite, TX.

Summary

Performs testing of assembled finished goods to ensure product functions properly and meets quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Reads and interprets work instructions and job aids related to completed machines.
  • Verifies product is correctly assembled and meets specifications according to work instructions.
  • Selects units from the assembly line to perform diagnostic testing of torque, power, pressure, etc.
  • Connects testing instruments to engine; starts and operates engine for a specified time under various conditions.
  • Reads and records test data; calculates performance of engine.
  • Signs off tested engines as ready for service, or indicates reasons for rejection based on analysis of test data; reports findings to supervisor and/or Quality Control technicians.
  • Resolves assembly problems by troubleshooting issues to meet quality and demand; notifies supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Initiates and maintains a safe, clean work environment in compliance with company standards.
  • Identifies areas of improvement to boost quality and production efficiencies.
  • Assists in other work areas, as needed, during absences/shortages of staff.
  • Adherence to company safety protocols is required, including the continuous use of PPE and protective sleeves during all work activities.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Mechanical and technical skills; adept at running computerized testing equipment.
  • Physical strength and stamina.
  • Safety management mindset and a focus on quality control.
  • Ability to work with and relate to diverse groups.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in Production operations is preferred.
Work Hours

Typical schedule is 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, with occasional need for overtime as required to complete production activities.
