The Lab Testing Engineer supports daily laboratory testing and technical activities in a manufacturing environment. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with basic technical knowledge, strong hands‑on ability, and a willingness to learn lab testing, troubleshooting, and quality fundamentals. The role provides training and development opportunities while supporting product testing, equipment handling, and data documentation.
Responsibilities- Support daily lab testing and technical operations under the guidance of senior engineers or technicians
- Assist with basic test setup, sample handling, and equipment operation
- Perform simple troubleshooting for lab equipment, computers, or printers
- Accurately record test data, results, and logs using Microsoft Excel and other tools
- Communicate with team members using Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and work instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace
- Education: High School diploma or above
- Physical Requirement: Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Hands‑on technical ability, such as:
- Basic equipment maintenance or repair
- Cable assembly (connectors, Ethernet cables, etc.)
- Basic problem‑solving skills and logical thinking
- Willingness to learn lab testing methods and follow procedures
- Previous experience in lab testing, technical support, manufacturing, or equipment maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting common issues such as computers, printers, or network connections
- Familiarity with basic tools used for maintenance or assembly work
- Strong hands‑on and detail‑oriented mindset
- Ability to clearly explain troubleshooting steps and solutions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, responsible, and open to coaching and feedback
- Laboratory and manufacturing environment
- Standing, walking, and handling equipment during daily work
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
