Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a busy distribution center in Mesquite, TX!

This is a hands-on warehouse position responsible for safely moving pallets and materials throughout the facility while supporting daily production and shipping operations.

  Thursday–Sunday, 4:30 PM - 6:00AM
• Pay: $19.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets and materials throughout the distribution center.
• Load and unload customer trailers.
• Position forks and lifting equipment correctly under, over, or around loaded pallets.
• Lift, transport, lower, and stack materials in designated areas.
• Move pallets efficiently to support production and warehouse operations.
• Assist with hand-sorting pallets when needed.
• Make safe and efficient decisions regarding the movement and placement of materials.
• Follow all forklift operating procedures and company safety standards.
• Meet established productivity and production expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete required records and follow instructions regarding documentation.
• Work as part of a team while maintaining accountability for performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification/training is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Good balance and hand-eye-foot coordination.
• Ability to work overtime and maintain a flexible schedule.
