Lead Case Manager - Full Time
Mesquite Specialty Hospital in Mesquite, Texas (in the Dallas–Fort Worth area) is a long-term acute care hospital providing advanced medical care for patients with serious, prolonged illnesses or complex injuries. We specialize in treating patients who need extended hospitalization and intensive services – such as ventilator/respiratory care, cardiac monitoring, IV medication management, and complex wound care – in order to recover sufficiently before transitioning to home or a lower level of care.

We are seeking a Lead Case Manager to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Two (2) years’ experience in Case Management preferred.
- Current clinical licensure strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a hospital management position preferred.

- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the case management department while continuing to manage a patient caseload. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
