Travel Cardiovascular Technician - Cath Lab

Job Overview

American Consultants is seeking a travel Cardiovascular Technician (Cath Lab Technologist) for a 13‑week assignment in Mesquite, Texas, within the Dallas‑Fort Worth metropolitan area.

• 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Competitive compensation with overtime, call‑back, holiday, and premium rates. Weekly pay. Tax‑free stipend to be determined.
• On‑call coverage: 12‑15 days per month, every other weekend. Call hours Monday‑Friday 3:00 PM‑6:30 AM and weekends 7:00 AM‑7:00 PM (24h).
• 12‑hour orientation period.

• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional radiology interventions.
• Float between two facilities in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area.
• Document patient care and procedural details using the Epic charting system.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and departmental protocols.
• Maintain equipment and consumables inventory and assist with supply orders.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cardiovascular technician.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• ARRT and RCIS certifications.
• Interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to float between facilities and handle rotating on‑call schedule.
