What you will do:- Lead all quality functions across two curtain wall manufacturing facilities
- Act as the front line authority for product quality on the shop floor
- Manage inspectors and quality leads while setting clear expectations and accountability
- Build, deploy, and sustain a practical Quality Management System where little structure exists today
- Ensure fabrication, assembly, and glazing meet drawings, tolerances, finishes, and customer standards
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Field teams, and Customers to resolve issues and prevent repeat defects
- Own quality metrics such as first pass yield, defect rates, scrap, rework, and corrective actions
- Lead root cause investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare the sites for internal and external audits and maintain quality documentation
- Serve as the primary escalation point for major customer quality concerns
- Help create a culture where quality is owned by everyone, not just the quality team
- 5+ years in manufacturing quality in curtain wall, facade, precision fabrication, assembly, or engineer to order environments
- 2+ years leading people in a quality or manufacturing setting
- Experience building or improving a quality system, not just maintaining one
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Knowledge of mechanical inspection methods, tolerances, and finishes
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar QMS standards
- Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus
- A confident communicator who can lead on the floor and in leadership meetings
- Someone comfortable working in a highly customized, low standard work environment
- An entrepreneurial, roll up your sleeves leader who can bring structure, clarity, and operating rhythm to the business
