Job Title:
Certification Coordinator – Solar Modules

Location: Mesquite, TX (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Certification Coordinator will support in managing the certification process for photovoltaic (PV) module products, including coordination with testing laboratories, documentation management, and cross-functional communication with manufacturing and engineering teams. This position requires prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team setting with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and tracking certification documentation and test reports
  • Coordinate communication and scheduling with third-party testing laboratories
  • Research, evaluate, and source qualified testing laboratories and certification service providers based on scope, cost, turnaround time, and accreditation
  • Obtain and compare quotes from labs and service vendors; support vendor selection and onboarding
  • Maintain and update certification tracking logs and databases
  • Help compile technical submittals for UL and IEC applications
  • Monitor deadlines for certification renewals and proactively follow up on outstanding items
  • Interface with production/manufacturing teams to obtain samples, specifications, or process data required for certification
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple concurrent certification projects
  • File and organize certification records for audits

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial quality environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Materials Science
    , or related field preferred (equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Experience sourcing or coordinating with external labs, vendors, or service providers is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Excel/Word; familiarity with document management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to PV module manufacturing or testing
  • Familiarity with UL/IEC standards or general product certification processes
  • Experience working directly with third‑party test labs or certification bodies
