Job Description

As the Store Shift Leader, you are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes cost controls, inventory control, cash control, customer relations, staffing, paperwork, food management, scheduling, image standards, service quality, attendance, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.

• Operate all equipment and maintain working conditions.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product and maintain inventory records.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Complete associated paperwork and log inventory.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Train and guide crew members.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co‑workers over phone and in person.

• Accurate and rapid math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and cash handling.
• Verbal, written, and telephone order processing.
• Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
• Keyboard or touch‑screen order entry.

• Standing: most tasks performed standing.
• Walking: short distances, short durations on tile/linoleum.
• Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs; cases up to 72 in. high.
• Carrying: dishes, cans, sauces, pizza dough, etc., up to 30 lbs.
• Pushing/Pulling: trays and dollies up to 30 in. requiring 7.5 lbs of force.
• Climbing: infrequently stairs or ladder.
• Stooping, bending, squatting: frequent at assembly and front counter.
• Reaching: up to 72 in. upward and downward, forward.
• Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination, forearm and wrist force, use of cutting tools.

• Exposure to varying weather during outdoor tasks.
• In‑store temperatures 36 °F–90 °F+.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500 °F, sharp edges.

Deliver products by car, deliver flyers and door hangers, navigate diverse delivery sites while carrying product, and maintain a safe driving record.

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
