HP Retail Sales Representative

Job Type: Regular Work.

Location:

Best Buy 54 - Mesquite, TX 75150. Pay: $17.50 per hour.

Schedule:

Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big‑box retailer(s). You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. You will be responsible for building rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees.

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy
• Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience
• Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within assigned store
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness
• Report competitive insights
• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
• Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
• Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services
• Build customer confidence to help them make selections
• Accurately document and report sales
• Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
• Keep workstation/kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
• Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast with an outgoing personality
• Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training
• Experience presenting a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
• Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech or wireless a plus
• Training or product demonstration experience a plus
• 1‑year job experience required
