PURPOSE:

To provide general supervision of all district grounds and facilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED. Special Knowledge/

Skills:

Ability to write incident reports.

Experience:

Three year security guard experience preferred. MAJOR

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Monitor safety and security of all district properties by patrolling campuses and responding to alarm calls during non-school hours and after hours calls. Notify police, fire and other appropriate authorities of any situation requiring immediate attention. Assist law enforcement personnel if needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Mental Demands:
Writing routine reports and correspondence. Interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Maintain emotional control under stress. Communicating well in both oral and written form. Physical demands/environmental factors:
Intermittent walking, sitting and standing. Reaching with hands and arms frequently repeating the same hand, arm or finger motion. Working overnight shift as well as on-call every other week or as needed.
