A Shift: Sun-Wed 5am-3:30pm

B Shift: Wed-Sat 5am-3:30pm

C Shift: M/Tu/Th/F 5am-3:30pm

W Shift: Su/M/F/Sa 5am-3:30pm

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 4pm-12:30am

D Shift: Sun-Wed 4pm-12:30am

Compensation: Starting pay rate is $18-$21/hour. You will receive quarterly $0.50 per hour step increases during your first year of employment bringing the pay rate to [starting rate + $2] by the end of the first year at RJW.

Job Purpose: To operate forklifts safely and efficiently; handle all freight inbound or outbound properly and orderly; maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping; loading / unloading of RJW truck / trailers and outside carriers safely and using proper procedures; ensure all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly; responsible for properly storing stock in the warehouse; perform duties to provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving handling activities.

Works from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers. Maintains forklift safety at all times following all safety policies and procedures.

• Assists Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklift and/or EPJs.
• General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment.
• Loads and unloads RJW truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carriers equipment.
• Flexible to work 10 to 12 hour shifts when necessary and not afraid of heights.
• Picking and moving stock from 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times.
• Ensures all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• Maintains warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• Processing outbound cross-dock freight as necessary.
