Furniture Repair Specialist
Inspect all assembled products in the run lane for delivery and assess if products can be repaired or must be replaced. Restore product to like-new conditions using proven techniques, including refinishing, re-upholstery, painting, etc. Repair damaged stock, wood, fabric, leather, and metal furniture using approved methods. Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules, including WHMIS. Document and complete service reports and paperwork, including inventory control information.
Completion of electronic paperwork within our software platform. Communicate any issues (mechanical or otherwise) on the service vehicles. Attend training on furniture repair topics. Inspect and validate the repair parts. Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules. Assure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Demonstrate the company's values in all aspects of their work performance.
