We have an immediate opening for a Driver.
The candidate must have a driver's license and be willing to work on a construction crew.
Responsible for transporting heavy machinery needed at various job sites throughout the area and must be willing to work on a crew assisting in construction activities (manual labor) for placement of various underground telecommunications cable/fiber and/or sewer pipeline installation.
Willing to be on-call rotation to assist their team.

Responsibilities- Performs general construction work under the direction of Foreman/Supervisor.
- Hand dig holes and trenches with a shovel and other hand tools.
- Applies approximately 80% time as a laborer and 20% time as a driver of CDL class trucks/hauling equipment.
- Basic knowledge of underground cable locating.
- Operates various types of trucks and equipment.
- Responsible for transporting equipment and materials.
- Install underground telecommunications cabling.
- Flag traffic, set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers.
- Performs daily walkarounds and alerts mechanics of any defects.
- Valid driver's license with Class A CDL.
- Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of and compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations.
- Ability to work outdoors in diverse environments including congested and remote areas.
- Physical capability to lift/carry up to 75+ pounds, reach, bend, stoop while performing work.
- Work for several hours at a time, standing or sitting.
- Work in small or sometimes confined areas, variable heights/depths.
- Good visual and audible contact with other crew members and moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
- Willingness to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes.
- Compliance with company and Federal Department of Transportation drug testing policies and procedures for both pre‑employment and continuing/random testing.
