Moore Supply Company is looking for a Warehouse Teammate/Delivery Driver at its Mesquite, TX location.

Pay for Warehouse Teammate/Delivery Driver is between $18 and $20 per hour at this location.

About the Warehouse Role:

You will:

• Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
• Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
• Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
• Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
• Assist co-workers in servicing customers and perform all job functions per Safety Standards.
• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.

About the Driver Role:

You will:

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules, laws, and regulations. Destinations include job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, Hajoca locations, other wholesalers, or other locations as directed by management.
• Load the truck with Hajoca merchandise and secure the load; ensure equipment to safely unload is available.
• Understand shipping documents and have accurate directions to delivery destinations. Review shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy.
• Unload merchandise at the receiving site and obtain a legible signature per policy.
• Collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sale deliveries prior to releasing material to the customer.
• Work with customers to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• Load at other locations with merchandise, including vendor locations, returns, and purchases from other wholesalers.
• Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses encountered during deliveries.
• Inspect the truck and required parts for safe operation before departure; keep the truck clean.
• Report mechanical problems and complete the Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Report when required.
• Complete required safety and compliance training and perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
