City of Mesquite is seeking a Solid Waste Driver to operate large residential refuse trucks, perform basic vehicle maintenance and support a two-person crew. A Class-C license is required initially, with a Class-B CDL with air brake endorsement due within six months. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.
No experience is required; applicants must be able to lift heavy items and comply with city policies. Training provided as needed.
