- Conduct physical inspection of product to identify damaged goods prior to delivery
- Assist the driver in compiling all necessary paperwork in delivering goods to customer
- Perform touch up and repair as needed on products
- Prepare and load delivery trucks safely
- Communicates and documents customer concerns to Distribution Center Support
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center area
- Unload and safely place products in customer’s home
- Continual heaving lifting throughout the day and assistance when required
- Take care of all customers through direct action or indirectly by assisting others
- Work with other employees to attain company goals
- Report violations of company policies and the misappropriation of company assets
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Certifications:
- High school diploma required
Skills And Abilities
- Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions.
- Heavy lifting required. May be required to carry heavy merchandise up stairs.
- Must maintain personal appearance by following Ashley’s dress code requirements.
- Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday.
- Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs. and more with the assistance of a partner.
- Ability to maintain heavy physical activity during shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently.
- Ability to work in in-door/out-door climate.

Will lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs.; transport loads of up to 100 lbs.
Work Environment:
Will work predominately in an open retail/office/warehouse environment; occasional work at new retail locations under construction. Potential exposure to oil, latex, and spray paint, household chemicals, biological odors and household dusts; moderate office noise.
