Base pay range$52,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Job Summary: The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflows.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
- Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse operations are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, and professional in SAP/Excel are a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including Overtime if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking software.
- This position requires standing, walking, lifting, and handling warehouse materials.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy.
