Shift

2nd Shift: Mon‑Fri 3:30 pm – 12:30 am

Compensation

$70,000

Location & Relocation

Please note this position is not remote. RJW will not be providing relocation assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage staff performance reviews and disciplinary actions; supervise all computer entry work and paperwork flow.
  • Assign work assignments for all warehouse staff, considering customer specifications.
  • Monitor the quality and accuracy of all shipments according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure that department staff meets the requirements of each customer and is updated on any changes.
  • Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries, implementing required actions.
  • Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors per OSHA and RJW policies.
  • Oversee completion of all computer data entry; verify accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and approve all shift employee timesheets for payroll, including temporary hours, and correct as needed.
  • Monitor overtime hours to meet department requirements.
  • Complete daily building checks, notifying the Co‑Pack manager of equipment or building issues or maintenance needs.
  • Ensure warehouse employees adhere to all AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines for handling food products.
  • Issue corrective actions or work orders to resolve issues and report accidents and emergency actions.
  • Perform assigned tasks or other duties as instructed by the Co‑Pack manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–2 years of related experience or training in co‑pack.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience or training in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Associate’s degree or 6+ years of supervisory/management experience (with references).
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages, interpreting bar graphs).
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of labeling software (Nice Label, Bartender) an advantage.
  • Ability to work in an indoor environment with repetitive tasks, stand/walk, and handle stress.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
