Inventory Control Forklift Driver Part Time

Job Summary

Support the Asset Protection Supervisor by maintaining workflow and count processes, operating a forklift, and partnering with the inventory control team to conduct and validate inventory counts, sort damaged and RTV items, reduce salvage, obtain return authorizations from vendors, and re‑wrap sellable merchandise.

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintain high standards of safety, service, and sanitation for members and team members.
• Work quickly and accurately to facilitate organized processes.
• Accurately process damaged or defective merchandise following salvage, donation, vendor return, reverse logistics, hazardous waste, and destroy procedures.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors, process vendor chargebacks, and package and ship merchandise returns based on vendor return policies.
• Proactively track, plan, coordinate, and execute department inventory counts, inventory control cycles, and related procedures within assigned deadlines.
• Follow count processes and procedures and maintain correct stock/inventory status for all damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.
• Assess breakage logs for leaking, spoiled, and broken merchandise and remove such items from inventory.
• Process freezer and dairy damages.
• Understand and administer the company’s community/donation programs and salvage merchandise orders.
• Conduct daily club safety walks and report findings to Asset Control Inventory Supervisor.
• Support the Inventory Control Count Team in count processing as assigned.
• Review daily return reports, process merchandise recalls, tire, and battery returns.
• Ensure that AFS and release dates are followed and that books are stocked and returned to RICS as required.
• Process 945/948/950 forms in partnership with the AP Specialist.
• Re‑wrap sellable merchandise using appropriate seal and shrink‑wrap packaging guidelines.
• Maintain department organization and cleanliness, following safety, filing, organization, and lock‑up standards.
• Complete and maintain required training and annual safety recertifications, including forklift operation.

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
