Recruit Staff Hire is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Proposal Coordinator to support a fast-paced, professional office environment in Metairie. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys managing multiple priorities, working with deadlines, and contributing to the preparation of formal proposals and business submissions.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Track and manage proposal efforts from opportunity identification through final submission and award.
- Develop and distribute proposal outlines, schedules, and compliance matrices.
- Coordinate and consolidate internal data calls and supporting documentation.
- Perform desktop publishing, formatting, and editing of proposal documents.
- Attend and support weekly proposal status meetings; update timelines and action items.
- Maintain and track division-specific proposal
