Position: SERVICE ADVISOR - MB Ford Metairie
Job Summary:

The Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling automotive repair and maintenance services, interacting with customers to determine the type of services they require, and explaining the cost of services to customers. The Automotive Service Advisor is also responsible for maintaining accurate records of all services performed, providing customers with accurate estimates and invoices, and keeping up to date on all new products and services offered by the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their needs to determine the type of automotive service they require.
• Explain the cost of services and any additional repair or maintenance work needed.
• Schedule automotive services and ensure that the service is completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and charges for services.
• Provide customers with accurate estimates and invoices.
• Educate customers on preventive maintenance procedures.
• Review customer feedback and make suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with services provided.
• Stay up to date on all new products and services offered by the company.
• Train new Service Advisors on proper procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of automotive service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to bend, kneel, and climb ladders as needed
