Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Engineer located in Metairie, LA. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as calculations, structural analysis, structural inspections, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for various engineering projects.
Qualifications- Calculations and Structural Analysis skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Utilize software to analyze structures and ensure their integrity
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Perform calculations for structural analysis
- Utilize Autocad/Revit for drafting and design purposes
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
