Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring proficiency with Impella and CRRT/NXStage and Epic EMR. Responsibilities Work in an ICU setting within a hospital Patient ratio is typically 1:2, but may flex to 1:3 Will float to all ICU units and may float to the ED or PACU to care for ICU patients, with occasional floats to MS/PCU units at a 1:4 ratio Required to work 3x12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 Four weekend shifts required per four-week schedule No call requirements Utilizes specialized equipment including Alaris IV pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT dialysis machines, Edwards cardiac monitors, Medtronic EVD management, Arctic Sun TMS, GE monitors, Hill Rom beds, Pyxis medication station, and Veratron bladder scanner Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required Nurses may care for COVID-19 and isolation patients and should know their N95 mask size Limited to 5 days of requested time off First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Scrub or dress code requirements follow unit policy Requirements Active LA or compact RN license required Minimum two years of recent ICU nursing experience required CVICU experience highly preferred
