KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a client in Lawrence, MA that is looking to hire an Accounting Specialist. This position will support the accounting team with day-to-day accounting operations with an emphasis on Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities- Maintain and verify accounting records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures
- Process and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Review vendor invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to processing payment
- Assist with accounts payable voucher processing and expense coding
- Support account and inventory reconciliations as well as sales tax data tracking
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Approximately 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working within an ERP system is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The good faith compensation range for this role is $58,000 - $65,000 DOE.
