Lawrence General Hospital - - Responsibilities:
Answers unit telephone calls promptly and courteously; accurately relay messages to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner;
Coordinates schedule of procedures and diagnostic tests; obtains and files results in patient charts in accordance with established protocols;
Prepares patient charts for admission and organizes charts for discharge, ensuring documentation complies with Health Information System standards;
Assists with patient transport arrangements and assigns rooms for cleaning as needed;
Delivers specimens to the laboratory in a timely and secure manner
