Student Activity Account Monitor

Qualifications:
High school graduate with not less than two years' experience as a bookkeeper and computer background with extensive experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, services and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Summary of duties:
- Maintain an accurate record of transactions that can be used to generate financial reports as needed.
- Account for each individual activity, reconcile bank statements, maintain checking account, maintains adequate documentation for audit trail.
Job duties:
- Receives cash and checks for deposits
- Verifies, combines and processes deposits with City Treasurer
- Records all transactions in check book and on available financial software that possess financial journals for both receipts and expenditures of student activities funds
- Creates processes and records all receipts and checks
- Reconcile student activities account with bank and city of Methuen statements on a periodic and consistent basis
- Creates and distributes reports for all student activities participants on a periodic and consistent basis
Stipend: $8,000 ($4,500 & $3,500)
