We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Manager / Account Manager with experience in the packaging industry. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional service, accurate order management, and long-term customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate understands packaging processes, materials, lead times, and customer needs—and can effectively communicate between internal teams and clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the main liaison for assigned customer accounts, managing daily communications and ensuring a high level of service.
Oversee order entry, order tracking, production scheduling coordination, and on-time delivery.
Maintain deep understanding of packaging products, materials, and manufacturing capabilities to provide accurate guidance to customers.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to support account retention and growth.
Troubleshoot issues related to orders, quality, logistics, and specifications; coordinate resolutions internally.
Prepare account status reports, forecasts, and customer activity summaries as required.
Collaborate with sales, production, design, and logistics teams to meet customer expectations.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal procedures, and industry standards.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell packaging solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
3+ years of customer service or account management experience in the packaging industry (flexible packaging, corrugated, folding cartons, labels, or similar strongly preferred).
Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and order lifecycle.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ERP systems, order entry, and customer portals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
High attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
