Position Purpose
* Supporting students with toileting and feeding needs; supporting instruction and implementing programs/lesson plans created by the Special Education Teacher; escorting students to and from pick up/drop off locations during arrival and dismissal; supporting and implementing behavior plans as directed by BCBA and/or classroom teacher.
Qualifications
* High school diploma required with associates degree or higher preferred
* Experience working with children/students
* Experience assisting in program implementation
* Ability to work with professional staff
* Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.
Additional Duties:
* Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings
* Needs to assist with a behavior plan implementation
* Provide academic support as needed
* May need to support feeding and toileting need
* Monitoring for attention, work completion and social navigation
* Perform duties as assigned by school administration
* Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher
Salary - $125 per diem
