Teachers for Children with Special Needs, Preschool for Extended School Year (ESY) Program

VACANCY NOTICE THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT

TITLE:

Teachers for Children with Special Needs, Preschool for Extended School Year Program DATE OF OPENING:
July 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Certified or certifiable as a teacher of children with special needs.

* Teaching experience with pre-school children with special needs (intensive special needs preferred)

* Knowledge of sensory, language, and multi-sensory programs.

* Experience planning and implementing behavioral and other programs for students with special needs.

* Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

To plan and implement programs for children with special needs. Programming includes academics, speech and language development, fine and gross motor skills, areas involving activities of daily living, and social skills.

SALARY:

As per current contract, four hours per day, four days per week, up to six weeks (depending on assignment).
