VACANCY NOTICE:
The availability of this position is contingent upon sufficient funding and enrollment.
TITLE:
Special Education Teachers/Tutors for Extended School Year Program
DATE OF OPENING:
July 2026
- Certified or certifiable as a teacher of children with special needs.
- Teaching experience with students with language based learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of role based, multi-sensory phonetic reading programs, preferably the Wilson Reading System or Orton Gillingham.
- Experience planning and implementing special needs programs.
- Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.
Preparation and tutoring of students with language based learning disabilities, hours to be determined based on the number of students, up to 4 days per week for four weeks.
SALARY:As per current contract, up to 6 hours per day, up to 4 days per week, four weeks.
