Special Education Teacher | Methuen, Massachusetts

To excel in this role, youll ideally bring the following:

• Current Moderate to Severe Special Education Teaching license
• Demonstrated experience engaging and supporting students with a range of learning needs
• Strong instructional planning and classroom management skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative mindset for working with educational professionals and family members
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individualized and group instruction based on each students IEP
• Designing engaging, differentiated lesson plans to address unique learning styles and needs
• Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and reporting on goals
• Collaborating with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other school staff to provide holistic support
• Communicating proactively with families regarding student growth and strategies for success
• Participating in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development as needed
