Speech and Language Therapy Assistant for Extended School Year (ESY) Program

VACANCY NOTICE THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT

TITLE:

Speech and Language Therapy Assistant for Extended School Year Program

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Licensed and/or certified by the appropriate licensing agency of the state or other appropriate entity

* Bachelor's degree in the field of speech therapy assistant is preferred

* Experience in participating in team meetings.

* Knowledge of language development programs and interventions

* Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years' experience

* Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some

of the above qualifications

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide speech therapy assistant services for students with special needs (under the supervision of a licensed speech pathologist).

SALARY:

Based on the current approved salary range for therapy assistants of the Methuen Public Schools
