As the
Anesthesia Technician
, you will performa wide variety of tasks associated with the operation, maintenance, procurement and administration of anesthesia within the Hospital.
- Coordinates activities related to equipment decontamination and sterilization, to assure an ongoing infection control program.
- Demonstrates skills/knowledge appropriate to patient age-related categories as defined by LGH - neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
- Equipment decontamination and sterilization
- Ensuring availability of supplies and equipment
- Assisting the anesthetists as needed
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in handling anesthesia and/or respiratory therapy equipment and working knowledge of biomedical skills preferred.
- Training available for the right candidate - medical professionals from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
