Global Supply Chain Analyst
We’re seeking a Global Supply Chain Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing and supporting global supply planning activities to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and improve end-to-end supply chain performance. This role partners with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Regional Operations to develop supply plans that balance customer service, inventory investment, and operational efficiency across global markets.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze global supply planning activities and monitor supply chain performance across multiple regions, plants, and distribution centers.
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate supply plans to support customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and capacity utilization.
- Identify supply risks, constraints, and gaps, and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Perform supply-demand balancing analyses and support monthly and weekly planning cycles.
- Monitor inventory health, including excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory, and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze production capacity, supplier performance, and material availability to support uninterrupted supply.
- Generate and interpret key supply chain metrics, dashboards, and reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Commercial teams to align supply plans with business objectives.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes through data analysis and scenario modeling.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of supply shortages, service issues, and inventory variances.
- Maintain planning system data integrity, including master data, planning parameters, and inventory policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, inventory optimization, and supply chain efficiency.
- Support new product launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and network changes from a supply planning perspective.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years of experience in supply planning, supply chain analysis, inventory management, or operations planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP and planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar).
- Experience with supply chain metrics, forecasting concepts, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional and global environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
