A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Production Team Leader at MKS, you will partner with Methuen production and report to the Supervisor. This role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating production phases to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
- Perform planning and scheduling functions for coordinating products and materials through various production phases.
- Implement planned production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
- Review schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure availability according to schedules.
- Select and develop personnel to ensure efficient operation of the production function.
- Observe employees and elevate production issues to the supervisor.
- Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum 6+ years of related production experience, especially in electro‑mechanical assembly.
- Experience reading and working from established drawings, soldering, wire‑wrapping, and cable harnessing.
- Proficiency with Excel and preferably Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work the second shift (3:30pm–12am) and overtime as needed.
Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods. Lift up to 50lbs. Operate a computer and other office‑productivity machinery. Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to mechanical and electrical hazards, high voltage, chemicals, fumes, and noise. Maintain safety guidelines and perform tasks at shoulder level or higher.
Compensation and BenefitsPay Range: $22.53–$37.55 per hour. This range is a good‑faith estimate of the expected salary, based on qualifications and experience.
