Overview
The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) uses oncology‑specific clinical knowledge to provide individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers, helping them overcome healthcare system barriers. The ONN applies the nursing process to offer education and resources that facilitate informed decision making and timely access to quality health and psychosocial care throughout all phases of the cancer continuum.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to educate patients and caregivers, ensuring timely access to health and psychosocial services.
- Deliver routine nursing care, including clinical care, telephone triage, symptom management, management of patients on oral chemotherapy, data gathering, chart updating, patient education, monitoring, and follow‑up.

CompensationThe hiring range is $38.21 - $80.50 per hour, based on market pay structures and individual qualifications.
