Borislow Insurance is currently seeking a positive, dynamic and creative Sales Team Practice Lead. The Sales Team Practice Lead is a key driver of BI’s growth strategy. This role reports to our Executive Vice President & Chief Growth Officer and combines leadership, mentorship, and personal sales performance to ensure the success of our sales team and the continued expansion of our client base.
As the leader of the sales team, you will foster accountability, market development behaviors, and production excellence while recruiting and developing top talent. This is a producing Sales Team Practice Lead position; the goal is expansion of our client base.
- Identify and develop members of the sales team through coaching and mentorship.
- Lead by example in driving profitable revenues across the team.
- Establish effective go-to-market sales strategies.
- Create an environment that promotes cross-selling, shared learning, and teamwork.
- Implement effective recruiting and retention strategies for the sales team.
- Drive performance to exceed plan and hold all sales professionals accountable for results.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify key prospects within targeted markets.
- Utilize a consultative approach to understand prospect needs and convey the firm’s value proposition.
- Close new profitable business and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Partner with client services to develop and execute multi-year strategies for delivering the full range of services.
- Serve as executive-level strategist for sourced business, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and retention.
- Communicate complex group benefits concepts, including laws, regulations, risk management, financing alternatives, and health & wellbeing.
- Maintain visibility in the business community and develop meaningful C‑suite relationships.
- Uphold the firm’s mission, vision, and values, reflecting positively on its reputation.
- Foster positive internal relationships and promote teamwork.
- Act as a continuous learner, bringing forward ideas to enhance the firm’s market position and service offerings.
