THE ROLE
We’re hiring an experienced Sales Manager to lead the sales floor at our new Methuen CDJR location. You will desk deals, coach and develop salespeople, drive volume and gross, and own the customer experience from first contact to delivery. This is a leadership seat for an operator who knows how to build a culture, run a process, and put numbers on the board — week in and week out.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Desk and structure deals to maximize gross while protecting CSI and customer experience
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team — daily one‑on‑ones, save‑a‑deals, and floor saves
- Drive new and used vehicle sales volume to meet or exceed monthly forecast and manufacturer targets
- Own the sales process end‑to‑end: meet‑and‑greet, write‑up, T.O., desk, and delivery
- Manage inventory mix, aging, and turn in partnership with the GM and Used Car Manager
- Build a high‑performing culture grounded in accountability, training, and follow‑through
- Partner with Finance to ensure clean, compliant deals and strong product penetration
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new salespeople — build the bench
- Hit and exceed manufacturer stair‑step and bonus programs
- 3+ years of automotive Sales Manager experience (this is not an entry‑level seat)
- CDJR / Mopar dealership leadership experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of hitting volume and gross targets in a high‑volume store
- Strong desking skills with deep understanding of payments, finance structures, and manufacturer programs
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and retain a sales team
- Proficiency with dealership CRM and DMS (Dealer track, CDK, Vin Solutions, Reynolds, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and follow‑through skills
- Process‑driven leader who runs the day — not the other way around
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
