Box Truck Driver / Installer
Responsible for driving a 26‑ft box truck throughout the Massachusetts area, with a focus on city routes in Boston and Cambridge. Duties include picking up electronic (primarily lab) equipment, delivering it, and loading/unloading the truck. Perform installation and de‑installation of certain equipment using basic hand tools—skills that can be learned quickly. Most days are spent on the road, with occasional work at the warehouse.
Standard hours are 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; in the Boston area the shift may begin earlier. Depending on season, the work week averages 40–45 hours, rarely extending past 4:30 p.m. After 3–6 months with the company, PTO begins to accrue. Pay increases and bonuses are performance‑based, and familiarity with routes, installs, and systems can lead to higher pay and bonuses.
Requirements- DOT Medical card or ability to obtain one
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least one year of box truck driving experience
- Paid Time Off
