Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Practicum Coordinator based in Mexico, MO. The Practicum Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and managing practicum placements for students, maintaining close communication and relationships with partner organizations, and supporting students in their preparation for and completion of practicum experiences. Responsibilities also include monitoring student performance during the practicum, working with faculty to ensure program alignment with institution goals, and performing administrative tasks related to the coordination of the practicum program.
Qualifications- Excellent organizational, project management, and time‑management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, faculty, and external partners
- Experience in program coordination, student support, or a related administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of higher education systems and processes related to student practicums or internships is an asset
- Proficiency in digital tools and software used for organization and tracking, such as Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Notable problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing needs and priorities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment in alignment with Stephens College’s mission
- Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant equivalent experience will be considered
