Location

The base of this position is Audrain County.

This is an hourly position, up to 20 hours per week. The Department of Social Services partners with families and communities to protect children, rehabilitate youth, and move families to self-sufficiency so that Missourians can lead safe, healthy and productive lives. The Department of Social Services – Children’s Division cares for at‑risk children and families by providing family preservation and reunification services, investigating allegations of abuse and neglect, and conducting foster care and adoption case management.

• Assist with office filing
• Assist with general data entry
• Ride along with Social Services Specialists for transportation of children (as needed)
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalent
• Possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license
• Post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis for denying consideration to any applicant

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to type accurately (preferred 30 words per minute)
• Ability to learn unique computer software necessary for the job

This is a hourly, temporary, non‑benefited position.
