Overview
A privately held, entrepreneurial, and retail-focused commercial real estate company with expertise encompassing the various facets of real estate investments, entitlement, redevelopment, and asset management seeks qualified candidate with strong accounting / bookkeeping, communication, and teamwork skills to support a portfolio of single and multi-tenant retail assets in Miami-Dade County.
Responsibilities- Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Property AR and AP
- CAM RECS
- Track and monitor tenant ledgers
- Post and process journal entries at the end on month
- Issue and prepare invoices and apply payments
- Reconciling intercompany AR/AP
- Perform credit card reconciliations
- Assist Controller with accounting transactions for monthly reconciliations
- Assist other departments such Property Management and Brokerage with payment processing
- Ad hoc accounting projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Bookkeeper certificate - preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience working in Commercial Real Estate Accounting a MUST
- Experience using accounting ERP software – MUST
- Experience using Quick Books and Yardi Voyager – highly preferred
- Knowledge of NNN (Triple Net) leases- MUST
- Organized – hands on
- Good judgment
- Position requires work in the office 100%-
